Beauty & lifestyle digital content creator, Chizi Duru, hosted her second annual #TheAfroBrunchNYC in the Heart of NYC’s Meatpacking district, bringing an unforgettable experience to aspiring beauty influencers. Saturday’s event featured giveaways and appearances by special guests such as Cynthia Andrew, Steven Onoka, Nneoma Okorie and more. Live DJ sets were courtesy of DJ Absolute and there was an open bar presented by Maison Marcel! #TheAfroBrunchNYC took place at Betaworks Studios on Sunday, November 3rd between 1 pm – 5 pm. Confirmed sponsors included Devacurl, Aveeno, Head and Shoulders, Neutrogena, Maison Marcel, and Tangle Teezer.
She created an offline space to further conversations about knowing your worth through the development of the Afro Brunch series.
