As you are aware, makeup is vital. It completes the look and can make the outfit. I wanted a fierce and flawless couture look. This is the first step in achieving that flawless complexion. For this make up application, my inspiration can from her outfit. One of Cardi’s best features is her eyes.
Balance It All Toner
For Cardi’s look I started with Ole Henriksen’s Banana Bright Eye cream (Sephora, $38), Ole Henriksen’s C-rush Brightening Moisturizer (Sephora, $44), and Balance It All Toner (Sephora, $34) prepping her skin prior to applying makeup.
I used StackedSkincare Dermaplanning Tool (StackedSkincare, $75) to smooth out the skin to achieve the best make up application. I then used one of my favorites, Pat McGrath’s Mothership V palette(Sephora, $125), brown and light brown shade for her eyes. I wanted to bring in the colors of her outfit, so I used Jeffrey Star liquid lipstick in “Breakfast at Tiffany” as an eyeliner to accentuate her eyes. I used Flawless Lashed #019 by Loretta to give a more dramatic look. Her eyebrows, I used Duo Brow Pen by Loretta and for her cheeks, I continued with Mac Cosmetics Melta. For Cardi’s lips, one of my all time favorites, Pat McGrath ‘s Peepshow lipstick to finish the look.

We started with Pat McGrath’s Mothership V palette (Sephora, $125) and Pat McGrath’s Perma Liquid Black Eyeliner (Sephora, $25) for the cat eye look. Cardi loves a matte lipstick. For this event, I used Pat McGrath’s Peepshow (Pat McGRATH Labs, $38). For her skin, Skin Fetish trio in gold (Sephora, $48) to give highlights.
